Aperol Sangria

2 bottles (1500ml/50oz) white wine
– Sauvignon Blanc or a Pinot Grigio are great choices

1 blood orange, sliced into rounds (optional)

2 oranges, sliced into rounds

1 lemon, sliced into rounds

1 lime, sliced into rounds

1 cup blueberries (very lightly pressed so they “crack” but aren’t pulverized)

12-15 fresh mint leaves (hand slapped, do not muddle)

3 oz fresh squeezed orange juice (optional)

3 oz frozen lemonade concentrate OR
¼ cup cane sugar (for a drier sangria, omit)

4 oz Aperol

2 oz brandy (optional)

Mix everything together, cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least a few hours)
Top with prosecco and a splash of soda.
Serve and Garnish with an orange wheel.
